Temple Sowerby Village
Temple Sowerby has rightly been known as the Queen of Westmorland Villages for several hundred years, it’s sandstone buildings clustered around a beautiful village green, ringed by tall trees. The village is located 6 miles from Penrith which is on the West Coast mainline and close to the M6. The busy A66 now bypasses the village which is peaceful once more with many views little changed over the years. For visitors the village has a pub, and a hotel, as well as being close to the National Trust site Acorn Bank.
This website is intended to share details of our beautiful village and the many activities that it’s residents enjoy.
Events and village information can be found below in our blog posts.
