Temple Sowerby Village

Temple Sowerby has rightly been known as the Queen of Westmorland Villages for several hundred years, it’s sandstone buildings clustered around a beautiful village green, ringed by tall trees. The village is located 6 miles from Penrith which is on the West Coast mainline and close to the M6. The busy A66 now bypasses the village which is peaceful once more with many views little changed over the years. For visitors the village has a pub, and a hotel, as well as being close to the National Trust site Acorn Bank.

Temple Sowerby Parish Council

The Annual Parish Council Meeting will be held on Wednesday 15th May at 7pm at the Victory Hall. This will be directly followed by an ordinary meeting of the parish council.
